| I started wanting to draw back when I was maybe 4 or so... you see, my sister had just gotten these Lady Lovely Locks paper dolls. I really wanted to play with them, but was reassured that I was too young. So I decided to try to make my own. That is when I discovered that I absolutely could not draw. XD Hand/eye coordination and muscle/finger strength did not exist. But from that day on I decided I would figure out how to draw.... and I've been drawing ever since. I prefer to draw fantasy and anthro, but I guess I can draw realistic stuff too sometimes. The thing that frustrates me the most is that I'm pretty sure I have reached a plateau of my abilities. I keep drawing, but I don't seem to improve. Personally, I blame the period of my life I decided I needed to draw everything "anime" style.... should have stuck with my own style. I am trying to work through this, though.  Anyway, somewhere along the lines a friend of mine and I created some critters called Myotes. I really like to write about them and draw them. I decided they needed their own DA, so I created one for them only. My Myote DA: My other passions include dolls (mostly Asian Ball Jointed Dolls, but I don't discriminate too much. XD ), fashion, dancing, and reptiles (mainly boa constrictors)... oh... and I like pirates. XD Also... go check out my sister's art:  She's amazing! |
